The two issues you encountered are very typical in the die-cutting process of PE release film. The reasons and solutions I will explain separately.
Size shrinkage problem: The PE material itself has a relatively strong elasticity. After die-cutting, the product undergoes shrinkage. The most common reason is improper tension control during the laminating process. Solution: Control the tension during laminating, do not make it too high; or laminate twice and then die-cut, the size of the product will not shrink so severely.

Edge burr issue: Usually related to the cutting blade. If the blade becomes dull, the cutting process will not be "shearing" but "tearing", resulting in burrs and dust on the edges. Solution: Regularly replace or grind the cutting blade, use a dedicated release film for cutting (the tungsten steel material is the best); adjust the cutting speed and blade pressure.
In addition, choosing a release film with good substrate toughness and flexible coating can also improve the quality of the cut. For precise die-cutting, consider using specific types of PE release film to ensure smooth cuts. If the problem persists, it is recommended to communicate with the supplier to see if it is necessary to upgrade the film model or adjust the die-cutting process parameters.
