1. Choose the quality of the coated paper according to the packaging item
The choice of the quality of the coated paper is closely related to the nature of the packaging item. If the packaging is heavy or fragile items, it is recommended to choose a more solid quality coated paper to ensure the integrity of the packaged items. On the contrary, if the packaging items are relatively light, choose a relatively light quality coated paper.
2. Choose according to the color of the coated paper
Coated paper can be distinguished according to its color. Transparent colored coated paper, suitable for the need to show the characteristics of the packaging item itself. White coated paper is suitable for product packaging where printed images and text need to be added.
3. Choose according to the thickness of the coated paper
The thickness of the coated paper directly determines the ability to withstand external pressure. Generally speaking, the thinner coated paper is mainly used for the packaging of small items, while the thicker coated paper is more suitable for the packaging of large items.
4. Choose according to the production material of the coated paper
There are three kinds of materials for the production of coated paper, which are PE, PP and PET. PE coated paper has better water resistance and is suitable for making water-based tape packaging, while PP coated paper is more suitable for making tape and greaseproof paper, and PET coated paper can make more beautiful and decorative packaging.
